UEF student Bible Club (UBC)

Come join us as we facilitate the spiritual growth and unity of all Christian students and staff on the UEF campus. We achieve this goal by an extensive and inspired study of the bible, sharing testimonies, questions and answer sessions, personal counselling and discipleship hours, quality praying time, and gospel outreaches.

We look forward to experiencing 1 Corinthians 2:4,5 AMPC,  “And my language and my message were not set forth in persuasive (enticing and plausible) words of wisdom, but they were in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit and power [a proof by the Spirit and power of God, operating on me and stirring in the minds of my hearers the most holy emotions and thus persuading them], so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God.”

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we meet virtually every other Saturday, therefore Kuopio and Joensuu students can participate. Time is 18:00 – 20:00. Language translation to either English or Finnish is available. Contact us for the Zoom link. We welcome you to having an impactful experience in our non-denominational Christian club. Looking forward to meeting you.

Remember to attach lights to your bicycle!

As the evenings are getting darker quicker, remember to wear reflectors and start using lights on your bicycle. When riding at dusk or in the dark, the Finnish law requires that a bicycle has a white or light yellow headlight and a red rear light. If you don't have these, you can be fined by the police. You can increase your visibility in the dark by wearing a reflector tag or a reflector vest.
