What makes you enjoy life in Kuopio? What is missing? Would you like to stay after graduation? Share your experiences in the Students’ City 2026 survey!
Share your experiences of finding a home, managing your budget, getting around and finding your community in Kuopio. What are your chances of finding an internship or a job in your field? And what would make you want to stay after graduation?
The results will inform the work of the City of Kuopio’s student affairs advisory board (Opiskelija-asioden neuvottelukunta). This forum brings together city services, educational institutions, student organisations and other organisations that support everyday student life. The findings will help them understand what students value about Kuopio and what changes they would like to see.
Take the survey from 22 October to 10 November 2026. It takes around 10–15 minutes, and you can answer in Finnish or English.
Respondents can enter a prize draw to win a €50 S Group gift card and Kuopio-themed merchandise. To enter, leave your contact details at the end of the survey.
The study is conducted by Männikkömetsä Oy in collaboration with the Research Foundation for Studies and Education Otus.
