ISYY has three venues available for hire in Kuopio: Lukema, the Studentia band practice room and the Tiukanlinna meeting room and sauna facilities.
The Lukema facilities are located in the Studentia Building, adjacent to the Student Union office (Yliopistonranta 3, Entrance C, FI-70210 Kuopio). The facilities comprise of a large common room, meeting room and a kitchen.

ISYY’s official bodies, such as Sections and Clubs are able to book and use Lukema for free. However, any free bookings will be cancelled and a new date has to be found for the reservation in the case that a paying customer wants to make a reservation (at least two weeks before the date of the original booking) for the same date.
The reservation is binding, but it can be cancelled via e-mail up to one week before the date of the reservation free of charge. Any bookings that are cancelled less that one week before will be charged 50% of the full rental rate, and bookings that are cancelled less than 48 hours before will be charged at the full rental rate.

Groups can apply to have a regular time slot at the band practice room each week. Only Student Union members can get a regular time slot. These slots are allocated in August, December and May each year. The application periods will be advertised on the ISYY website.
One slot costs 20€ per month. The person responsible for the booking is also required to pay a 50€ deposit payment for the key. When the band practice room is available, it is also possible to book individual slots at 5€ per session.

Tiukanlinna is a party venue with a meeting room, sauna and catering services. Tiukanlinna is located at Yliopistonranta 1 J.
Student Organisations and ISYY Clubs are able to book Tiukanlinna for the price of 100€, if the booking is made through ISYY. The negotiated price of 100€ is only valid for Tiukanlinna venue hire that takes place from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 17:00–00:00. The person/organisation responsible for the booking is also in charge of the cleaning, and the cleaning time is included in the hire time. If the venue has not been cleaned properly, a cleaning fee will be charged accordingly. The cancellation fee for Tiukanlinna is 100€.
