Dentina ry came back to life in October 2010 as dentistry studies re-started in Kuopio, and a new generation of students arrived. Dentina attends to its members’ interests, organises all kinds of fun activities and brings dentistry students together to strengthen collegiality. You may recognise us from our black overalls that have a white pocket or our subject organisation's unique socks!

Fortis ry is the student organisation of pharmacy students. You’ll recognise us from our dark green overalls. For international pharmacy students Fortis offers a chance to get to know your Finnish peers, our membership for free during your stay, overall badges and free coffee and tea at the Fortis office. You’ll find the office at Canthia, ground floor, room 1112. Don’t be shy, come join us!

Hyeena ry is the very own red-furred student organisation for Environmental Science students at the Kuopio campus of the University of Eastern Finland. The most visible part of Hyeena’s activities is organizing a variety of leisure events, ranging from parties, sitsit, and excursions to hangout evenings and sports activities. Hyeena also supports its members in adapting to academic life and advocates for their interests at the university. The Hyeena pack can be recognized by their red overalls featuring a black print of our namesake animal on the back. Our common room, the Hyeena Room, can be found in Snellmania on the second floor in room SN207. The hyenas have fun in the pack!

Kulti ry is the student organisation of biomedicine students in UEF who carry red overalls with white pockets. We advocate the interests of our students, e.g. in matters concerning studies. Around the year we organise educational and entertaining events, such as working life events and parties. We bring our students together with the working life in the field of biomedicine. Our clubroom (aka Kultihuone) is located in the 2nd floor of Snellmania, near Café Hav a Java at the bomb shelter (SN2064). Come and join us for coffee!

KuoLO ry is the student organisation for medical students in Kuopio, and our members can be recognized by their black overalls and good atmosphere! In addition to advocacy and student representation, the KuoLO year is filled with traditional events, such as the interdisciplinary Hubailut party organized by the newest medical student class (IG & FB @hubailut). KuoSi (IG @sitsikerhokuosi), likely the largest sitsi club in Finland, organizes amazing interdisciplinary sitsit throughout the year with a variety of themes. There is also plenty to do through different clubs and sports teams, not forgetting international activities, charity work, and Speksi! Follow us on social media @kuolory!

Kvantti ry is Kuopio's Technical Physics students' guild and the newest Student Association on campus. Founded in the spring of 2023, Kvantti will be active for the first time in a whole academic year during 2023-2024, also ordering its first student overalls, which are dark blue in color with white pockets.

Preemio ry is a student organisation for Business students of the University of Eastern Finland on Kuopio campus. Preemio offers its members services and interest advocacy with studies and free time activities. During the semester Preemio arranges various theme parties, but also sport activities, where it’s possible to network with other Preemio members and students.

Retikka ry is the student organisation for Nutrition Science students at the University of Eastern Finland. Retikka takes care of its students, represents their interests, and creates relaxing leisure activities for its members. For its members, Retikka organizes a variety of activities including sports events, sitsit, casual hangouts, interdisciplinary events, fairs, and much more — not forgetting coffee moments in the Retikka room. Retikka members are especially known for their pride and trademark: an endless supply of food (and appetite)!

Serveri ry is the student organisation for students of computer sciences on the Kuopio campus of UEF. Serveri acts as a link between the university and the students and at the same time monitor the interests of the students and promote cooperation with companies in our field. Socius ry is the student organisation for students of Social Sciences on the Kuopio campus of UEF. We gather together all comrades to spend a fulfilling student life. Our most important task is to maintain the well-being of our members, and we promote this by organizing a wide variety of events and taking care of welfare. TERHO ry is the student organisation for Health and Social Sciences students at the University of Eastern Finland. TERHO represents seven major subjects: Health Promotion, Nursing Science, Health Economics, Health and Social Management Sciences, Health and Human Services Informatics, Master of Public Health, and Human and Planetary Health. The blue-overall-wearing TERHO organizes events for its students throughout the year and looks after their interests and student advocacy. You can find the TERHO room in the basement of Canthia.
