ISYY staff members are experts in student life at the university. Some staff members specialise in specific fields, while others are in charge of administration and office duties. The staff can be found at the ISYY offices in both Joensuu and Kuopio.
Members of staff guide and help students with different problems, develop the Student Union services, cooperate closely with the ISYY Executive Board and give specialist counsel at Representative Council and Executive Board meetings.
In addition to permanent employees, the Student Union employs trainees, non-military service personnel, SYKETTÄ sports instructors and additional temporary help during busy times.
