ISYY participates North Carelia Pride Parade and Garden Festival on 20.5. The Parade stars at 14.00 from the railway station and the Garden Festival starts at 15 in the art museum garden.
North Karelia Pride is a celebration of gender and sexual minorities where everyone is welcome to join the festival just the way they are.
Pride week is filled with various events, including workshops, a rainbow hike, poetry karaoke, discussion panels, film nights and a rainbow mass, just to mention a few. Perhaps one of the most visible ones is the Pride parade and festival on Saturday, not to forget the official big Pride disco party!
