You can borrow Savonlinna’s research books with the extended loan period as of Mon 23rd of April and course books as of Mon 7th of May. The due date for these books will be the 12th of September 2018. The extended loan period does not apply to books borrowed from the collections of Joensuu or Kuopio Campus Library.

You cannot place hold or fetching service requests on the books belonging to Savonlinna’s collection as of 21st May 2018. Savonlinna Campus Library’s collection will be transferred to Joensuu and added to the collection of the Joensuu Campus Library. The transferred books will be available for use again at some point in the summer.

The library card and borrowing rights are still valid at the other campus libraries and KUH Medical Library. However, please remember to inform the UEF library of your new contact information.

The books in the faculty collections (situated in the offices of staff members) with the university’s stamps and bar codes that will not be moved to Joensuu by the staff members must be delivered to the library for processing. You must deliver such books to the library on the 31st of March 2018 at the latest. You do not need to send the faculty collection books that you are taking with you to Joensuu to the library for database changes.

The UEF library cannot process staff members’ own books.
