The student overalls are strongly connected to Vappu (The May Day). The student unions of Finland challenge all current and past students to spread the spirit of vappu by hanging their student overalls to a visible place at home, for instance by the window or to the balcony.
Post a picture of your hoisted overalls to your Instagram feed with a hashtag #hoisttheoverall2021 and you will participate in a contest. The reward for the winner of the raffle will be Sony WH-1000XM3 Bluetooth noise-cancelling headphones.
