Advance voting started on Monday 27 October at 9 am and ends today, on Friday 31 October at 2 pm. The actual voting day is next week on Thursday 6 November and you can vote between 8 am and 4 pm.
The voting takes place in ISYY’s Electronic Voting System with your UEF credentials. Just log onto the system and place your vote with your device, which can be a laptop, smartphone or a tablet etc.
Eligible voters received an email last week from ISYY. The email contains information about the elections and voting as well as useful links, e.g. to the Electronic Voting System and to the Voting Aid, which helps you with finding the right candidate.
All members of the Student Union, who have registered as present students at the University of Eastern Finland before 20 October 2025, are eligible voters.
This year, the elections have altogether 136 Candidates from 11 different Candidate Lists. You can find the Candidate who best represents you by using the Voting Aid or by searching through the Electronic Election System’s Candidate Gallery. See also the lists of the candidates on the ISYY’s website under Candidate lists.
At the Representative Council elections, even one vote can make a change!
ISYY will announce the percentage of advance voting on Friday 31 October.
