Coffee & Friends cafés meet on Tuesdays from 16 September forward on both campuses

Coffee & Friends event offers low-threshold hanging out after lectures and the opportunity to meet other students over coffee and a snack. All students of the University of Eastern Finland are welcome to Coffee & Friends. You can come to the café alone or with a friend. In addition, Coffee & Friends has a changing chill program. Participation in the programme is voluntary and you can come for a while or for the whole time.

The café meets on Tuesdays from 16 September forward at 3-5pm at Lukema in Kuopio and at 4-6pm at Agora Café.

  • 11.11. Relaxation (led by UEF Study Psychologists)
  • 18.11. Joensuu: Music bingo, Kuopio: Climate Café (led by Nyyti ry)
  • 25.11. Christmas Party

The program will be updated as planning progresses.

Participation is free of charge and does not require pre-registration. 

The program is organized by peer tutors. The campus pastors, UEF’s special education teacher and ISYY’s Community Coordinator provide background support. We accept development ideas and wishes about the program, contact information can be found below.
