ISYY Representative Council Elections' Advance Voting has begun!

The Representative Council Elections of the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland will take place on next week's Thursday 6 October 2025. The advance voting has now begun and everyone of ISYY members who have registered as present students at the University of Eastern Finland before the 20 of October 2025 have a right to vote in these elections either in the Advance Voting or on the Actual Election Day.

The Representative Council of the Student Union consists of 39 persons who make significant decisions concerning all students, for example, what kinds of services ISYY offers, how much your ISYY membership fee will be and to what it is used for.

Representative Council Elections Voting Schedule:

Advance Voting:

• Advance Voting begins on Monday 27 Oct 2025  at 9 am.
• Advance Voting ends on Friday 31 Oct 2025 at 2 pm.

Election Day:

• Voting begins on Thursday 6 November 2025 at 8 am
• Voting ends on Thursday 6 November 2025 at 4 pm.

You can cast your vote electronically in ISYY’s electronic voting system. You can vote anywhere with your own device, just log onto ISYY’s electronic voting system with your UEF credentials. 

From the Electronic Election System you can also browse the candidates in the Candidate Gallery and get to know the candidates’ introductions and their pictures, if they have chosen to add them there. There’s also a Voting Aid which has been created for the elections and you can find it here.

In case of any problems during the voting process, you can contact the Coordinator for the Representative Council elections or the Voting System Specialist during office hours.
