Update on 7 May 2025:
ISYY board decided in its board meeting on 7 May 2025 to cancel the ISYY Eurovision viewing parties on both campuses due to low attendance, and feedback received from the events. The purpose of the viewing parties was to offer students an opportunity to gather around music and culture, and ISYY aims to organize a new alcohol-free music-themed event at a better time next autumn.
Soon, the entire music world will gather around TV screens to watch the Eurovision 2025 final broadcast, which will air live from Switzerland on Saturday 17 May! This time, you don't have to watch the performances alone, because ISYY is organising a top-notch viewing parties! So gather your friends and Eurovision spirit, and come spend a fantastic Eurovision night with us in both campus cities.
The event is free for ISYY members. We are especially promoting this event to our international students, as music is a wonderful way to bring people together. All ISYY members are very welcome, and it would be fantastic if many came to support their favorite singer!
During the Eurovision night, we will cheer for our favorite performers. There will be a chance to play Eurovision Bingo, with prizes for the lucky winners. We will also provide yummy snacks, and you are also welcome to bring your own food. However, please leave alcoholic beverages at home, as the event is alcohol-free.
