The candidate nomination period of the Representative Council elections of ISYY, which are held on 6 November 2025, ended on 1 October 2025 at 3 pm. After that, the Central Election Committee, which was elected by the Representative Council, had a meeting as the ISYY election rules state.
At its meeting, the Central Election Committee stated that there were 137 candidate approvals and 11 candidate lists submitted by the deadline.
The Election Committee approved 133 candidate approvals and 11 candidate lists.
The Election Committee rejected one candidate approval because the nominee was not eligible for the elections.
The Election Committee decided to conditionally approve one candidate because their personal identity code was not in Peppi. The Election Committee asks the person to add their personal identity code to Peppi.
The Election Committee decided to conditionally approve two candidates because the names they used in their candidate approvals differed from their name in Peppi. The Election Committee asks the persons to correct their names.
Conditionally accepted nominees have until 5 October 12 pm (noon) to complete their candidate approvals.
