Are you ready for a cycling adventure around Eastern Finland!

Tour de Itä-Suomi is a cycling event for students in Joensuu and Kuopio organised by the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY). The event has been organised in autumn since 2021. This year the event will be held in Joensuu and Kuopio on 7-20 September in the spirit of brevet. Choose the best day for you and challenge your friends to ride with you!

The registration fee for the cycling event is 5€ for ISYY members and SYKETTÄ members and 10€ for everyone else. Registration for the event starts on Kide.app on Tuesday 25 August.

Route info

There are two route options, shorter and longer. Learn more about the routes, here is the route map for Joensuu and here is the route map for Kuopio. Shorter routes follow mainly bicycle or bicycle and pedestrian routes. On the longer route over half of the distance is cycled on the edge of the road. Bring your own bicycle, bicycle helmet and sunny attitude.

ISYY office is the start and finish, get your brevet card and snack bag from the office between 7-17 September during the office opening hours before you head to the road. After your ride return to the office and exchange your brevet card to overall patch and leave your contact information to participate the raffle. Return the brevet card to the ISYY office until Thursday 24.9.2026.
