Does your heart beat for graphic design? Do you want fame and fortune? We have a chance for you to shine! Let loose your creative self and design the cover of the ISYY Student Calendar for the academic year 2025–2026. The winning design will be the cover of our next student calendar, which will be available to collect in approximately mid-August 2025.
The Student Calendar is one of the best known services of our Student Union (ISYY). Your design might be the cover of your friends calendar next Autumn and that way it gives joy to their every day student life. To us it is important that our calendar looks like our members.
Your task is to design the cover, so that the calendar will look like our members. Send the final design with your contact info (name, email, phone number) via e-mail to ISYY's Communications Specialist no later than 15 May 2025.
Please keep in mind that the binding in the left side of the calendar covers approximately 15 mm of the design. Don’t design anything important to that area, because it will be cut off by the binding.
The logo of ISYY and the title "2025–2026" or "Lukuvuosikalenteri 2025–2026" or "ISYYn lukuvuosikalenteri 2025–2026" will be added to the cover. You can include these to your design by yourself or you can leave that for our consideration. Please also send us the version without those elements, unless they have a big role in your design. The logo can be found from the Documents-section of the ISYY website. The logo must be attached as it is, black or white, without any special effects or filters.
ISYY's Communications Specialist and ISYY Board Members responsible for communications will choose the winning design by the end of May.
The winning design will be published as the cover of the student calendar 2025–2026. The design will also be published in ISYY’s social media and website.
The winner will receive a 100 euro gift card to S-Group (can be used in markets like Prisma and S-market, in restaurants, hair salons, hotels etc. that operate under the S-Group). The winner will be contacted personally via email. The user rights of the winning design will be forfeited to ISYY.
