ISYY Representative Council 2/2026 meeting's decisions
The Representative Council of the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) held its second meeting of 2026 on Wednesday 15 April.
In the meeting, the Representative Council
- noted down ISYY’s annual report of 2025.
- approved the financial statements for the financial year 1.1.–31.12.2025 and decided to grant discharge from liability for the accounts for the same period.
- elected Saimaa Audit Oy/Jere Niskanen as the 2026 auditor.
- approved the distribution of the SYL Union Meeting delegation seats for the years 2026-2027. The Council has to appoint its delegates for the 2026 Union Meeting by 30.9.2026. The Executive Board can elect the missing delegates if the groups have not proposed their own delegates by the deadline.
- appointed Emilia Enroth as the ISYY candidate for the Chair of the 2027 Board of SYL ry and Emilia Kivikoski as the ISYY candidate for the 2027 Board of SYL ry.
- decided not to establish new committees.
- accepted a proposed resolution made by Henri Rinta-Koivula (Vihreä lista). The proposed resolution is that ISYY would ask campus cities for an ISYY student representative seat in the city council.

The next meeting of the ISYY Council is held in the autumn semester.
