ISYY Representative Council Meeting's Decisions 2/2025
The Representative Council of the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) held its second meeting of 2025 on Wednesday 9 April.
In the meeting, the Representative Council
- elected Juho Väisänen as a new deputy member of the Finance Committee.
- decided that option no. 1, renovating the space, would be the best solution for Studentia’s space no. 3 in ISYY’s opinion.
- took note of ISYY’s annual report of 2024.
- approved ISYY’s financial statements for the period 1 January 2024–31 December 2024.
- granted discharge from liability for the accounts for the period 1 January 2024–31 December 2024.
- confirmed November 2025 as the election day of the Representative Council elections and decided that the election is organised electronically. In addition, the Council decided that the advance voting period for the elections is 28.10.–5.11.2025.
- decided not to invite an honorary member.
- accepted two proposed resolutions made by Marko Koskelo (Keskeiset) and one proposed resolution made by Lidia Backlund (Vihreä lista).
