ISYY's breakfasts will continue in September 2026

ISYY’s breakfasts are relaxed and communal hanging out moments that are open to all students of the University of Eastern Finland. Come start your day with a nutritious breakfast and getting to know your fellow students, and you'll be energetic for the rest of the day!

Breakfast events will be organized monthly on both campuses, and each breakfast session includes two separate seatings. The first seating is from 8.00 to 8.45 am, and the second from 9.00 to 9.45 am. The breakfasts are organised in Kuopio in the cabinet of the Snellmania restaurant and in Joensuu at the restaurant Aura.

Participants must register in advance via Kide.app so that special dietary requirements can be taken into account. Registration opens two weeks before each breakfast session. Participation is free of charge, and each seating can accommodate 15 students. Since there are a limited number of seats, registration via Kide.app is restricted so that each participant can sign up for a maximum of two different breakfasts during the autumn semester.

If you cannot attend, please cancel your registration so your seat can be given to someone else. You can sign up for the cancellation queue by email once the kide.app sale has opened.

• House-made bread rolls and rye bread
• Butter-vegetable oil spread and chickpea hummus
• Cucumber, iceberg lettuce, tomato
• Gouda cheese and vegan cheese slices
• Turkey and vegetarian cold cuts
• Organic oat porridge with jam
• Orange juice and blackcurrant-rosemary shot
• Coffee and tea
