Application Period Continued: Student Representatives to the University Collegiate Body and Faculty Councils

The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) has continued the application period for the following vacant student representative positions. The positions' term is for years 2020-2021.

Student representatives in the UEF administration, called Hallopeds in Finnish, look after students' interests and make sure that the student perspective is always taken into account in UEF decision-making. Hallopeds have an important role in ensuring a good flow of communication between students and the UEF administration, departments and faculties.

ISYY is searching at the moment for:

• four student representatives and four deputy representatives to the following Faculty Councils:
  - The Faculty of Health Sciences
  - The Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies
  - The Faculty of Science and Forestry
   
•  five student representatives and five deputy representatives to the Faculty Council of the Philosophical Faculty.
   
• eight representative and eight deputy representative to the University Collegiate Body of the University of Eastern Finland.

Persons with a right to complete an undergraduate or a postgraduate degree in the University of Eastern Finland may apply to any of the above bodies. Persons who are more than half-time employees in the University cannot apply to University bodies as a student.

Applications can also be delivered in paper to the Student Union’s offices.

The application period ends on Thursday 17th of October at 12.00.
