Salla Haapavaara ISYY’s New Coordinator of International Affairs

The Executive Board of the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) chose Salla Haapavaara (Master of Arts) as the Student Union’s Coordinator of International Affairs on 27 July 2020. 

Haapavaara starts working in the Student Union’s Joensuu offices on 13 August. 

For the position 26 applications were submitted before the deadline. Seven of the applicants were interviewed for the position.

– I am very excited about that I will work with important international issues in the Student Union and even in the familiar University environment. In addition to international affairs, you can approach me in any matter of interest or just come to talk, says Haapavaara.
