International Sitsit Party by ELSA Joensuu

TO WHOM: For all the international students and the law students at University of Eastern Finland

WHAT IS A SITSIT PARTY?

Sitsit is a traditional academic table festival originating from the Nordic countries. During Sitsit people eat, drink, sing drinking songs, give speeches etc. Usually there’s also a theme, according to which people dress up. Sitsit are one of the most popular Finnish student events. As an International organisation ELSA Joensuu wants to give the local and the international students a chance to meet each other! All you need is an adventurous mind.

THEME: The stereotype of your own country. Whether you want to show up in a traditional costume or maybe as a famous person from you country, or maybe display some stereotypical personality traits of your people, then this is an event for you!
