Valentine's Day is celebrated on Monday 14.2. and we have planned a day of relaxed and comfortable activities for both campuses. See campus-specific events below and join us in spending Valentine’s Day with us. Also we are challenging everyone on Valentine’s Day to greet everyone you meet on campus!

Welcome on Valentine's Day to solve the trickiest mystery of winter 2022, the case of the disappearance of a lost student friend in the Sm4rt LOC escape room game on the Joensuu campus!
The length of the game is about 45 minutes, which includes an introduction to space technology. The event will start at the café in the Educa building, 1st floor. (Tulliportinkatu 1, Joensuu). The actual premises are located in the ground floor rooms E001 and E002 (directly below the café). You can register alone or with a ready-made team, one game can accommodate 6 people at a time. the games are open to everybody. Registration is free and ends no later than 13.2. at 4 pm. In addition, you will receive your own overalls badge for the BRIDGES project to commemorate your participation. Sign up from the link below:

Would you go on a Valentine's Day walk with the BRIDGES? The BRIDGES team in Joensuu is organizing a communal walk in honor of Valentine's Day. Before departure at 4 pm, we offer warm juice, chocolates and good company in the winter weather at Carelia's yard! A walk lasts about an hour. In addition, you will receive your own overalls badge for the BRIDGES project to commemorate your participation. A warm welcome to join us!
Come with us to skate on the Kallavesi ice rink on Valentine's Day from 2 pm to 4 pm! Kallavesi Skating Rink is located in the passenger port of Kuopio. In addition to skating, participants will receive a ticket entitling them to one hot drink of their choice (note non-alcoholic) at the winter café. Skates can be borrowed in advance free of charge from ISYY's office in Lukema. You can put on overalls if you own one. Participation is free and you do not need to register in advance. In addition, you will receive your own overalls badge for the BRIDGES project to commemorate your participation. Welcome!
If you happen to visit campus on Valentine’s Day, you may find yourself in a nice and delicious surprise. Namely, we are going to hide snack bars for Snellmania, Canthia and Lukema to brighten up their discoverers. So remember to look around in these buildings on Valentine’s Day for hat racks and drawers, and you might find yourself a treat…
