ISYY is organising an orienteering event for 2nd and 3rd year students on 23rd of March!

In autumn 2021, we got feedback from UEF students who wish that ISYY would organise an orienteering event inspired by the traditional City Orienteering for 2nd and 3rd year students. Your wish has been heard and we are organising an orienteering event called 2+3 Adventure in both campus cities, Joensuu and Kuopio, on 23rd of March starting at 5 pm!

During 2+3 Adventure the 2nd and 3rd year students will have an opportunity to get to know their fellow students and to go through exciting and adventurous tasks around the city. The starting point of the event will be open from 4 pm until 6 pm in the city center. The aim for each group is to accomplish 10 orienteering points, but more accomplished tasks means more adventure! The orienteering points are open until 9 pm. The event culminates to the afterparty, where we can fix the 2-year lack of partying!

The event is for UEF 2nd and 3rd year students and the registration for the event happens in Kide.app 2.-16.3.2022. We encourage all people to register in the mixed groups, which consists of the students from different study fields. You can of course register with your own team which can include max. 6 people. The registration is free and all team members will get their own 2+3 Adventure overall badge! If there are still tickets left after the registration period, we will sell tickets to other UEF students also.

The theme of the event is, as the name states, adventure, and we encourage all teams to wear something that goes with the theme. Most of the orienteering points will be held outdoors, so it is good to wear something warm and that goes with the weather. And of course, you can wear your overalls!

Welcome to the big adventure!
