We are delighted to invite you to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland. The festivities will be held at the Art museum of Joensuu on Saturday the 14th of March 2015.
The anniversary is a party for everyone studying at the UEF, and it consists of a festive dinner, speeches and singing according to the Finnish academic tradition. It offers a perfect opportunity to dress up in either a suit or a beautiful gown for a day. Please note! There will be a bus transportation from Kuopio and Savonlinna to Joensuu and back so you don’t need to worry the accommodation for the night. The round trip costs only 15€. Remember to sign up for the transportation in advance.

Saturday the 14th of March
5 PM Salutations at the Art museum (Kirkkokatu 23)
6 PM Academic soiree in the upper hall of the Art museum
11 PM The afterparty of ISYY’s fifth anniversary will be organised from 11pm onwards in Muru. Everyone, also those who do not participate in the main celebration, are welcome to the afterparty! With the student card the entrance for the after party is free of charge.

Menu with alcohol member 65 e / non-member 75e
Alcohol-free menu member 55e / non-member 65
If you wish to participate the brunch, it should be paid at the same time with the dinner card. The brunch costs 17e.
Dress code
Evening dress/dark suit (with academic badges of honour)

Please inform your menu (with alcohol / alcohol-free), your participation in the brunch, your diet and your possible avec when signing-up. In addition, let us know if you wish to salute the student union at 5 PM.
