If you answered yes to any of the questions above, apply for the Student Union’s Executive Board for the year 2021! You don`t need to have any earlier experience of elected positions – it's enough if you have motivation!
Executive Board is looking for a member who is interested in student well-being and actions of environment and development cooperation sector.
If you are intrested in applying for the Student Union`s Executive Board, send an informal application to the Chair of the Executive Board Vesa Janhunen by 6th of April, 2021.
In an informal application you can tell briefly about yourself and why are you applying for the Executive Board. If you wish you can also send your cv. Send your application via email to puheenjohtaja@isyy.fi.
Selection process is concluded at the meeting of the Representative Council on 8th of April, 2021.
The Representative Council elects the Board’s Chairperson, Vice Chair and 4-8 members annually. The Board is the executive body of the Student Union. The Board helds meetings around 40 times a year and participates actively in different committees and sections.
Each member of the Executive Board has a specific area of responsibility e.g. affairs of social policy, communications, academic affairs or international affairs
Board members have a great opportunity to influence the activities of the Student Union and how to develop the Student Union. In addition you get to influence matters in the direction of the the University.
During the year, the Board members network and cooperate with other Student Unions in Finland. All elected Board members are expected to commit themselves to active work in the Board.
