World Mental Health Day 10.10. and the Green Light for Equality-campaign 4.-10.10.2021!

World Mental Health Day is celebrated on 10.10. The goal of the day is to reduce the stigma still associated with mental illness. This year, young people are encouraged to meet genuinely, appreciatively and equally, as the mind of every young person is valuable. There is a #vihreäävaloa campaign running all week to show off the green light for equality!

Here's how to get involved:

💚 Engage with young people – genuinely, respectfully and equally.
💚 Spread the message on social media! (MIELI on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
💚 Arrange green lighting on 10.10. at 6pm. Shine green light on your window, building or a monument.
💚 Get dressed in green: choose green clothes or accessories. Share your photos on Instagram and FB with the hashtags #vihreäävaloa #greenlightequality #kymppikymppi #maailmanmielenterveyspäivä

The background forces of the day are the World Mental Health Federation and the World Health Organization WHO. From the beginning, the celebration of the day in Finland has been coordinated and made known by the MIELI Finnish Mental Health Association. The day has been celebrated since 1992.
