ISYY is participating in the organizing of the 2023 Pride parade and park festival with the North Karelian Seta Association on Saturday 20th of May in Joensuu!
Equality and transparency are important values for ISYY. ISYY encourages all its members to take part in the Pride parade and park festival, as well as to wear student overalls to form a rainbow. The BRIDGES project also organizes an excursion from the Kuopio campus to Joensuu, so that students in Kuopio have the opportunity to participate in Pride.
The parade starts at 3 pm and ends at 4 pm at the Ilosaari park, which features a picnic, live music, bouncy castle and, of course, great company. ISYY has its own area that brings together all students. The first 100 students in the felt area will receive ISYY's Pride Hemmo overall badge as a memory.
