Announcement: Six applications for the Secretary General's vacancy

The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) received six applications for the Secretary General’s vacancy during the application period.

The following persons have applied for the General Secretary’s vacancy: Juutilainen Teemu, Mirola Hannele, Parviainen Kalle, Pylkkänen Henna, Summanen Kerttu and Turunen Susanna.

ISYY’s Executive Board decided in its meeting 22 January 2026 to call four applicants for interviews:

• Juutilainen Teemu
• Mirola Hannele
• Parviainen Kalle
• Pylkkänen Henna

The interviews are held on Wednesday 11 February 2026 in Kuopio. The Representative Council of the Student Union will choose the new Secretary General in its meeting on Sunday 1 March 2026.

The Secretary General is responsible for personnel management in a youthful and diverse organisation. Their main task includes financial administration, personnel matters and public relations. Secretary General prepares and presents matters for the Board of the Student Union.
