The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) organised a calendar cover competition during the spring. The purpose of the competition was to find a cover, which represents our members, for our student calendar 2027–2027.
This year, the winning cover is a slightly comic-style, colorful illustration that captures the spirit of community and diversity of student life. Did you know that all the overall colors featured on the cover are represented in both of our campus cities, Joensuu and Kuopio? The winning cover is designed by Mira Tikkanen.
The winner was decided at the end of May and the calendars are going to print soon. Calendars will be arriving at our offices at the start of autumn and we will inform you right away, when they are ready to be collected.
Besides serving as a calendar, ISYY’s student calendar is a pocket size guide book including information about the student union and other operators close to students. The calendar also has maps of campus areas, blank pages for notes, and even color coded presentations of student-overalls of the many student associations of UEF.
