ISYY's Smiles and Complaints Week takes place 13.–19.4.2026!

ISYY’s Smiles and Complaints Week is held on 13.–19.4.2026. During the week you will have an opportunity to give feedback on both campuses for example to the Student Union, the University, FSHS (Finnish Student Health Services), campus restaurants, or any other party involved in student life.

Which things are actually working well and deserve some acknowledgement? Moreover, which things are more irritating and need some improvements? Please, tell us and we will take your feedback forward!

You can give us your feedback anonymously on both campuses by using Post-it notes or by filling the electronic form. It is possible to give feedback through Post-it notes from Monday till Friday either in the Snellmania or Canthia lobby in Kuopio and in the Carelia, Natura and Metria lobbies in Joensuu. The Google Form opens on Monday 13 April at 8:00 in the morning and closes on Sunday 19 April at 23.59.

In addition to this, it is now possible to give feedback face-to-face to Board Members in both Kuopio and Joensuu:

• Joensuu: 15 April in Carelia lobby from 11 am to 12 pm
• Kuopio: 17 April in Snellmania lobby from 12 pm to 1 pm

All feedback is treated confidentially and will be forwarded to the parties concerned.
