Hi new student! Your first academic year at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) has started and now it is time to get to know what student life is all about. We at the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) want to warmly welcome you to our student community and Student Union’s activities.
ISYY organises a ‘fuksibingo’ aka Freshman Bingo to kick-start the academic year. By completing a bingo you will get a unique ISYY Fuksi 2022 overall badge. The Freshman Bingo helps new students to familiarise themselves with student life and to find new communities.
Only new students of UEF who have joined ISYY can participate in the Bingo during September and October. The participants’ goal is to complete tasks in the bingo sheet and mark to the sheet the tasks they have finished. After a student has completed a bingo row, they can come to the ISYY office during opening hours to pick up their overall badge. The bingo row can be made vertically, horizontally or diagonally (from corner to corner). At the office, the student has to show their completed bingo and their valid student card to the ISYY staff. The Freshman Bingo can be played till 31 October 2022. The overall badges should be picked up also by the end of October. There is a limited amount of the ISYY Fuksi 2022 overall badges so be quick!
The electronic bingo sheet can be downloaded from ISYY’s social media or via the PDF link below, or you can pick up a paper version from the ISYY offices. If you download the electronic bingo sheet, you can modify the picture and mark which tasks you have completed and show the completed bingo from your phone screen at the office.
ISYY offices are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am till 3 pm and on Wednesday from 12 pm till 4 pm. In the beginning of September, the offices are exceptionally open on 2 and 9 September from 11 am till 1 pm.
