The concert will feature performances by the Karelian singing and dancing ensemble "Kanteleen taitajat" and Finnish kantele players Minna Raskinen and Hanna Ryynänen.
The concert is organized by the National Singing and Dancing Ensemble of the Republic of Karelia (Karjalan tasavallan kansallinen laulu- ja tanssiyhtye), the University of Eastern Finland (Itä-Suomenyliopisto), the Karelian Research Institute (Karjalan tutkimuslaitos), the Poetry Singing Academy (Runolaulu-Àkatemia) and the Joensuu Conservatory (Joensuun Konservatorio).
