Vegan challenge

The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) and the Karelian Student Union (POKA) challenge all students and staff members of University of Eastern Finland and Universities of Applied Sciences for a week’s vegan challenge in week 40. The purpose of the challenge is to give knowledge and the experience of veganism and to encourage the reduction of animal products. The Executive Boards of ISYY and POKA are also committed to being vegans on week 40.

During the challenge, the vegan diet should be followed. Vegan is a person doesn’t eat any animal products such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy products and their derivatives.

The challenge will be delivered to the University of Eastern Finland, Karelia University of Applied Sciences, student organisations, campus organisations, political organisations and youth councils in Joensuu and Kuopio. When participating in challenge, take picture of the vegan challenge and post it on Facebook, Twitter or instagram using the hashtag #VeganISYYPOKA
