ISYY Remote-Wappu makes a magnificent comeback! Even though we won’t be able to party hard downtown with all our friends, there’s no need to worry, because ISYY Remote Wappu brings First of May party to your home with an amazing program again this year!
ISYY Wappu Broadcast 2021 follows in the footsteps of our program from last year, and this time we are going live with a double-whammy of content! From April 26th to April 29th you can follow our audio broadcast, and April 30th and May 1st are dedicated to a video broadcast, including our special program with all the traditional Finnish student May Day traditions! You can also submit your own content, whether you’ve always wanted to showcase your beatiful radio voice, share your favorite playlist, participate in a Talk-show or even film the grass growing outside your apartment window.

The traditional May Day celebration, Savo-Karjala excursion will be held again this year on April 29th from 17 to 21. Like last year, the excursion is held remotely via Discord from the comfort of your own sofa. In the event you need only an internet connection and a smart device, your overalls, drinks, and the stopping places of the remote bus and the remote bar. This year we are going abroad on a European tour!
