Students' wellbeing and communality are needed to be promoted even after the BRIDGES project

The BRIDGES project of UEF and ISYY is coming to an end in December 2023. In the spring of 2023, ISYY asked by a questionnaire to survey the students' wishes and needs for ISYY's wellbeing and communality work in the future after the project. A total of 179 responses were received.

The responses showed that the needs of students have not changed/decreased since the pandemic. Respondents felt that there is still a need for low-threshold recreational events that promote wellbeing and communality. Interdisciplinary and non-alcoholic events were particularly in demand.

– On the basis of the replies to the questionnaire, ISYY will start to explore how the wellbeing and communality work can continue after the end of the project, says Eetu Hyvönen, Chair of the ISYY’s Executive Board.
