Super month of ice hockey peaks at the Winter Classic 2023 🏒
The super month's great final is the Winter Classic of ice hockey on Wednesday 8th of February! The match is played between allstar student teams of the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) and Karelia University of Applied Sciences (Karelia UAS) at the heart of Joensuu at Mehtimäki Ice Hall (Kisapolku 4, Joensuu) in Mehtimäki Sports Park. Which team is going to be the champion of North Karelia! 🏆
Different competitions, shows and programs are online during the half-times to raise the atmosphere and the communal spirit of the public. Official limited edition overall patches are sold at the Ice Hall. Welcome to watch, cheer and enjoy the event free of charge. Winter Classic 2023 will be the event which leaves even the NHL second!
The Winter Classic is organized by The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY). Event is sponsored by University of Eastern Finland, Karelia University of Applied Sciences, BRIDGES project, SYKETTÄ Joensuu, Karjalainen, City of Joensuu, Joensuun Kiekko-Pojat and Bar Play, Citymarket Pilkko, Intersport, John Deere, Bille Beino and Red Bull. 🎉

2. break - raffle winner receive prizes, competitions for the public. Prizes come form the sponsors and include a vip table at the after-party (food & drinks for 4) at Bar Play.
at 21:00 Game end and official after-party at upstairs of Bar Play (Kauppakatu 23 B, Joensuu) starts.
