ISYY goes Ice Hockey Super month 25.1.-8.2.2023, which includes four events full of real deal ice hockey!
There will be a program for Jaromír Jágr of their own life as well as for the bench athlete. All events are friendly to the student's wallet - free of charge. Read more about the events below and sign up for one or all of them! Link to registration is below.
The super month starts with Joensuu’s ice hockey team Kiekko-Pojat home match at the Mehtimäki ice hall, where FPS from Forssa is the opponent. Students will have their own private room in the VIP area from 5:30 pm forward, where there will be competitions to raise the atmosphere and a communality spirit. Accommodates max. 20 people. The match starts at 6:30 pm and lasts approx. 2 hours. During the match, there will be a fun half-time program, where prizes according to the theme will be given out. Prizes are awarded immediately after the match in the VIP area.
The super month continues with morning skating at Louhela's outdoor ice rink. A more precise time will be confirmed soon. Accommodates max. 25 people. Players of the Kiekko-Pojat are also participating in the morning skates. Participants must have their own skates and their own racket (both can be borrowed from the ISYY office if necessary) and their own helmet. Your skill level doesn't matter.
Another home match can of course fit into the super month, namely Kiekko-Pojat are going to have Kiekko-Espoo as an opponent at the Mehtimäki ice hall. Students will have their own private room in the VIP area from 5:30 pm forward, where there will be competitions to raise the competition atmosphere and a communality spirit. Accommodates max. 20 people. The match starts at 6:30 pm and lasts approx. 2 hours. During the match, there will be a fun half-time program, where prizes according to the theme will be given out. Prizes are awarded immediately after the match in the VIP area.
The super month is topped off by the Winter Classic - UEF vs Karelia UAS all star student team ice match. Sign up to join your university's team. The skill level doesn't matter, we recommend participating in the morning skates of the previous week. Participants must have their own equipment. You are also welcome to cheer your own universitity to victory!
