Candidate:

• Major(s) or degree programme(s)

• Picture
• The name of the list of candidates
• The candidates agreement to publish phone number 
• The candidates agreement to publish email address
• The candidates agreement to be a candidate

Spokesperson for Candidate List​​​​:

• UEF username
• Name
• Personal identity number
• Email address
• Phone number
• Possible background communities of the list of candidates

Voters:

• UEF username
• Name
• Attendance information (yes/no)

Data is retained as follows:

Data of candidate is retained as long as the candidate is a member or vice-member of the representative council

• Data of spokesperson is retained during the election
• Data of candidate is retained 2 years, afterwards data is archived
• Data of the list of candidates is retained 2 years, afterwards data is archived
• Data of the electoral alliances is retained 2 years, afterwards data is archived
• List of voters is retained 1 month after the election, afterwards data is deleted

Archived data is retained at ISYY electronic archive Docuware.

Where is the personal data required in processing received from?

Data required in processing is received from the candidates and spokespersons. Data from voters is received from the University’s Peppi system. The processing of personal data is based on the controllers legal obligations. If the data subject does not provide the required information, he or she is unable to be a candidate or a spokesperson in the ISYY representative elections.
