Didn’t manage to get vaccinated today? Not to worry: another walk-in coronavirus vaccination event will be held on the Joensuu Campus on Thursday, 16 September 2021.
The joint municipal authority for North Karelia social and health services (Siun sote) and the University of Eastern Finland will hold another walk-in coronavirus vaccination event on the Joensuu Campus on Thursday 16 September 2021. The vaccinations take place in the lobby of the Carelia building from 09.00 to 11.00 and from 12.30 to 14.30.
Walk-in vaccinations are offered without appointments on a first come, first served basis. Vaccines are offered to all students and employees of the University of Eastern Finland, regardless of their place of domicile, including international students and staff.
Both first and second doses of the vaccine are offered at the walk-in vaccination event. The earliest that the second dose of vaccine (a booster) may be given is eight weeks after the first vaccination.
