ISYYs sustainable development week from 7th to 13th November

The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) and the National Union of University Students in Finland (SYL) are organising the Sustainable Development Week from 7th to 13th November (week 45). The programme organised together witf SYL includes a workshop held by Eetti ry about corporate responsibility (in Finnish) and online discussion (in English) held by Fairtrade together with students from Åbo Akademi Studentkår ÅAS.

On top of the events organised together with SYL, ISYY’s BRIDGES project will arrange a trip to School for Self Sufficiency in Nurmes. In the academy they hold courses to teach people how to live life completely in a self-sustaining way! During the trip you will learn how the academy operates and how you can live more self-sustaining by yourself. You can attend this trip from both campuses. The course will be held in Finnish.
