He was a Finnish Lutheran clergyman who is often referred to as "the father of literary Finnish", as his translation of the Bible laid the foundations of standard Finnish. You can read more about Mikael Agricola and his contribution to the Finnish language here and here.

ESN overalls for sale at the ISYY office

What are these colourful party pants that everyone wears in student parties? Overalls ("haalarit") is a huge tradition in Finland among higher education students. They represent you and your fellow students as a collective, especially since every study field has its own overall color and/or design. If you're in Finland only for one semester and don't have the time to get your own student associations' overalls, you can get blue ESN overalls, also known as the international students' overalls! The ESN overalls are sold at ISYY's office for 35e. Get yours before they run out!

To learn more about the higher education overall tradition in Finland, you can watch this Youtube video.
