ESN Joensuu Surviving Winter in Finland 26.1. at 3pm

Finland is one of the northernmost areas in the world with a permanent population. Winter in Joensuu lasts pretty much until the end of April (!!!) and this means Finns will get to work or school in the morning no matter how cold it is or how much snow has fallen. And you must do the same! Finns know how to make the most of the winter months, and we want you to learn some of their secrets.

Come to the Surviving Winter in Finland event and get a glimpse of what keeps Finns going during the coldest months of the year, how you can learn from them and enjoy your time in Joensuu to the max! In addition to this you can stay at the Polar Bears sauna and have a swim in the lake. Please bring your towel, swimming costume, flip flops or socks for walking outside and some warm clothes for after! You can also bring your sausages to cook on the fire shelter :)

P. S: It's a non-alcoholic event. So please don't bring any alcohol.
