Voting for the elections of the Representative Council for the Student Union (ISYY) is open. You can vote today Wednesday 8.11.2023 until 18.00 in the electronic voting system in Tuudo. Take part in the most important elections of your student life and decide who you want to decide on your behalf about the matters concerning you!
Voting is done electronically here: https://vaalit.tuudo.fi. The link directs to the login page of the electronic voting system (registration with UEF username and password). You can vote wherever you want with your own device with just a few clicks. The easiest way to vote is through Tuudo app, where you can find Representative Council Elections from the side menu.
Both campuses have Election info stands on Wednesday 8.11. where you can vote electronically. In Joensuu, the stand is located at Carelia lobby between 10 am and 2 pm and in Kuopio at Snellmania lobby between 10 am and 2 pm.
You can find the candidate who represents you the best by using the election compass (link below). See also the lists of the candidates on the ISYY Elections webpage.
Eligible voters include members of the Student Union (ISYY) who have registered their presence at the university before 24.10.2023. In the advance voting between 31.10. and 7.11. the voter turnout was 19,2 % (2 771 votes).
Results of the Representative Council Elections will be announced in the Election Night event on 8.11. which starts at 5.30 pm on both campuses: AU100 (Joensuu) and CA100 (Kuopio). ISYY will inform its members of the Election result on 8.11.2023 right after the result has been confirmed.
This year, the elections have altogether 113 candidates and 9 candidate lists.
