ISYY is now looking for two students to join the YUFE Student Forum and bring their perspective in the implementation of the YUFE vision. We are seeking specifically one bachelor’s degree student and one PhD researcher to continue the work of previous representatives. We expect the applicants to have at least one year of degree studies left before their estimated graduation date and hope the new representatives can start already in September 2025.
Student-centredness, equality, openness, diversity and inclusivity are at the core of the YUFE identity. Students with all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
The Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) is an alliance of ten young research-intensive universities, and UEF is a part of it. YUFE aims to be the role model of a young, student-centred, equalitarian, open, and inclusive European University. It is based on co-operation between higher education institutions, the public and the private sector, as well as citizens across Europe.
The YUFE Student Forum is a place of influence for students. It ensures that the voices of students are heard throughout all development and decision-making processes at YUFE. Each member university, including UEF, has its own bachelor’s, master’s, and postgraduate level representative in the YUFE Student Forum.
These altogether 30 students across Europe elect their own Board to lead the Student Forum. They also take part in the development work done in the YUFE working groups in different ways.
